I am grateful to Booking.com for providing the AmericInn by Wyndham at Johnston's front desk number so clearly and as a phone call link on my booking information and receipt, as I needed that number at hand more than once. I needed to adjust my reservation, even after confirmation, and called the front desk number to discuss my options with Paula. About five hours following checkout, I had completed my activities in Des Moines and was headed home when I realized that I had left my raincoat in my room. I again called the front desk number to discuss the matter with Allison. When I needed assistance, Paula and Allison both listened carefully and did everything to meet my needs, solve my problems, and confirm that the honest staff had found and protected my raincoat. I couldn't have been more pleased when them and with our breakfast attendant who helped with my request for hot water for tea when I found none provided near the tea bags and coffee carafes.

Very pleasant and accommodating staff. Didn't mind that we had a pet. Room extremely quiet. Easy on and off interstate. Breakfast served had a lot of variety. Multiple local restaurants nearby. Facility was clean. .

The desk clerk was great. Our room smelled like wet dog - not sure what your pet policy is. The rest of the room was clean and the bed was very comfy. There were no hair dryers in the room and the few at the front desk were all gone, so I had to leave the hotel with wet, undone hair.

Furniture was a bit dilapidated and coming apart. Bed and pillows were decent. There was a stray black long curly hair on my stark white bed though. Great water pressure in the shower. Provided Dove body care products

Super soft towels, beds were cozy, and staff was lovely. Our room window faced in to the pool area and it was actually really pretty at night.
